This is Dorian. He’s a Nebelung cat, which is a sub-breed of Russian Blue. He’s almost ten years old, and he’s slowing down quite a bit, but could still use some love and attention. He’s about to be homeless for a couple of months.
I have to leave my apartment and haven’t been able to find another, so I’m going to be staying with Toni and her family for a month(ish) until the baby’s born and things settle down a bit. Toni is amazing and generous and angelic and completely allergic to cats.
So I need your help. If you know of (or are) someone in the Chicago area that might be willing to do me the incredible favor of watching out for Dorian while I’m at Toni’s, please PLEASE let me know.
Pros: Box trained. Warms up to you. Will leave you alone if you want him to. Completely indoor cat who can totally handle a small living space for a couple of months. When I first came to Chicago he spent a month in a 6x10ft. room and managed just fine.
Cons: Has this irritating habit of scooping his food out of his bowl to eat. Sheds (as all cats do). Doesn’t get along with other pets, doesn’t like kids. Doesn’t play well with others, basically.
Please. Seriously. I’m a little desperate here. I don’t know what to do with him if I can’t find him somewhere to stay, and it’s freaking me out a little.
For my friends in Chicago. Anyone ?
Chicago folks, can you help?
